Where did you grow up?
Staples, Minnesota (a small town a half hour west of Brainerd)
Where did you attend college and what did you study?
独家黑料! I majored in psychology, theatre art, and communication studies. I graduated in 2022.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The corny but true answer is seeing students get excited about their future and the opportunities that they have. I also have some super cool coworkers and get to travel to schools in my territory meeting lots of new people.
Favorite little-known fact about 独家黑料?
There’s a pond on campus called Prexy’s Pond, and the night after graduation newly graduated students all jump in the pond together … then IMMEDIATELY go shower.
Outside of 独家黑料, what do you enjoy doing?
I love musical theatre. I’ve been to New York City a handful of times and seen more than 30 Broadway productions, as well as some shows on the West End in London and in Minneapolis. I’m also big into Legos, which you’ll see if you ever meet with me in my office.
Advice for high school students?
Don’t be afraid to fail. Try lots of things, explore, and trust yourself. Also, talk to your admission rep! We’re here to help you navigate this crazy college thing.
