Cheryl (Berg) Bormann ’04, an iQ Minnesota Academy counselor, has been selected as the 2019 MSCA (Minnesota School Counselors Association) Multi-Level School Counselor of the Year Award.

Bormann was nominated by iQ’s assistant principal, Ryan Johnson. iQ Academy is an online school for grades K-12. The school is a program of Independent School District No. 544 in Fergus Falls, Minn., that helps students become independent, self-motivated learners.

After graduation from ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ, Bormann received her Master of Arts in community mental health and Master of Arts in school counseling in 2010 at Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wis.
