He is one of the founding members of Next Level Partners, a network of philanthropists dedicated to addressing wealth disparities through supporting job creation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Col. Greenwood retired after completing his final tour of duty in 2023, having served a combined 28 years in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. He was a master space officer with three command tours and a two-time combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). His community involvement included serving as a coach for youth basketball and baseball, working with the Wounded Warrior Project, and assisting with veterans’ activities. At church, he has served as a youth group leader, men’s retreat leader, and worship team leader.

Chosen by the National Alumni Board, the Alumni Achievement Award is given to alumni who have exemplified the ideals of ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ through outstanding service and leadership in their profession, community, and church.

The awards will be presented to the recipients during the Homecoming Banquet on Friday, Sept. 27.
