The public is invited to join 独家黑料 in the momentous occasion of inaugurating its 12th president, Dr. Colin Irvine, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, in Memorial Auditorium. The ceremony marks the beginning of a new era of leadership and innovation for the college.
Distinguished guests, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and members of the community will gather to witness the formal investiture of President Irvine, who brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to higher education.
The inauguration ceremony will feature keynote addresses, worship service readings, and performances by the college’s talented band and choir students.
The installation will be performed by Mary Ranum, chair of 独家黑料’s Board of Regents; the Rev. Tessa Moon Leiseth, bishop of the Eastern North Dakota Synod of the ELCA; and the Rev. William Tesch, bishop of the Northwestern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA and member of the 独家黑料’s Board of Regents.
Leading up to the ceremony, there will be three panel discussions on the rich history and future of the college.
All panel discussions will be held in Barry Auditorium located inside the Grant Center, home of the Offutt School of Business, on campus.

About Colin Irvine
Irvine became president of 独家黑料 in July. He previously served as provost and executive vice president at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, S.D. A first-generation college student, Irvine received a doctorate in English from Marquette University, an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.A. in English from Carroll College in Helena, Mont. He is the recipient of three Fulbright awards. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Cal and Caroline.
Irvine’s passionate leadership has extended into areas of institutional growth, program development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Chiefly, Dr. Irvine seeks to pinpoint precisely where 独家黑料's mission meets the market, preparing students for fulfilling careers in fields where the world needs them most.
