It may not be lefse, krumkake, pepparkakor, or aebleskiver, but ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ students are preparing to serve up their own Scandinavian holiday treats at the ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ Christmas Concert this year. And these sweets come in the form of songs.

The mural created by Cyrus Running, the late ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ professor, was once in ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ's Carl B. Ylvisaker Library.

¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ’s Cyrus M. Running Gallery often showcases art from professors and students but, starting Nov. 25, high schoolers from across the region will take over the space for their sculptures, paintings, drawings, and other pieces.

Two former deans with ¶À¼ÒºÚÁÏ Language Villages will be celebrated for their efforts to expand Japanese language learning in Minnesota.
